Well, her hair was full of stones that is. Hehe…What did you guys think of Katie Holmes’ hair style at the Oscars? Did you like the stones? I’m not sure I did, but someone at People magazine did:
While others were deciding between long straight hair or retro curls — Katie Holmes had a more original idea in mind for her Oscars night updo. To accessorize her soft blush-toned Armani Prive dress, the actress added stone embellishments around her slicked back bun. And if those pale green stones look a touch familiar, they also graced Beyonce’s Armani Prive dress as well. We think the flash of pastel looks lovely against Katie’s dark hair, and it’s always nice to see something a little outside the norm that actually works! Will this be the next big trend?

It seems like Katie Holmes didn’t go to the Oscars after all and I didn’t see Tom Cruise on the red carpet. Tom did however give out an award and I’m going to find pictures of that soon. TomKat are spending Oscar night at the Vanity Fair party. Here are some low quality pictures of them. I’ll be updating with higher quality ones soon hopefully:

It’s so fabulous getting to see some new pictures of Katie Holmes! She looks fantastic in the white suit she was wearing at a gala honoring women in conflict zones working for peace, but maybe a bit tired? I also love Rosario Dawson so it’s great to see them together. Also there was Cindi Leive from Glamour magazine, producer Paula Wagner, Mandy Moore, Sally Feilds, Jane Fonda, Marisa Tomei, Salma Hayek, Marley Shelton and loads more.

This is SOO exciting! I’m always excited for the Oscars but now that I know TomKat are going to be there I REALLY can’t wait! It’s been so long since we’ve seen some good pictures of the pair and to top it off, Katie’s bff Victoria Beckham is going to act as their stylist for the night. I hope Katie doesn’t show up wearing a huge hat like the one Posh wore to TomKat’s wedding! Here’s some inside scoop from AskMen about what we might see the pair in on Sunday:
A source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: "Victoria has the most amazing idea of what will look good on both Tom and Katie and has already discussed various fabrics and designs with them.
"They were originally planning to wear their favourite designer Armani’s clothes. But Victoria has convinced them to go with her ideas instead."
Victoria is planning to dress Tom and Katie in matching black outfits, with his and hers red trim around them.
The former Spice Girl recently styled Katie, 28, for a photo shoot in Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
The friends also attended catwalk shows together in Paris earlier this month wearing co-ordinated outfits.
Victoria, 32, will also be in attendance at the Oscars and a range of designers are desperate for her to be seen in their creations.
